The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferreira as he jumps to the side.
Hilo slips a jab and a cross from Ferreira.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hilo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferreira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hilo is taking a breather. Ferreira says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Hilo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hilo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Daniel Ferreira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hilo slows the pace down.
London Hilo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hilo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
