Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fred Korematsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zinedine Zidane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fred Korematsu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fred Korematsu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korematsu avoids a kick to the body.
Zidane shoots in for a double leg but Korematsu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zidane tries to clinch up but Korematsu circles away and keeps his distance.
Zidane shoots in looking for a takedown. Korematsu tries to sprawl out of it but Zidane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Korematsu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zidane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Korematsu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Korematsu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zidane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Korematsu pinned against the cage. Korematsu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fred Korematsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zinedine Zidane.

Korematsu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Zinedine Zidane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Korematsu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zidane manages to avoid it.
Zidane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Korematsu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Korematsu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zidane's head backwards.
Korematsu keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Zidane on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Korematsu scores with a hook to the body. Zidane takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Korematsu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Zidane takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zidane is rocked!
Korematsu grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Zidane takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Korematsu cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fred Korematsu!
