Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrei Andrakovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lord Gracie!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Andrakovski, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Andrakovski against the cage but Andrakovski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A slow jab from Andrakovski misses its intended target.
Gracie dives in and grabs Andrakovski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andrakovski pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Andrakovski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Andrakovski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Andrakovski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Andrakovski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Andrakovski drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Andrakovski off! Andrakovski jumps back into Gracie's guard.

Andrakovski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Andrakovski has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Andrakovski passes Gracie's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Andrakovski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Andrakovski is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Andrakovski seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Andrakovski is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Andrakovski manages to get back to half guard.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Andrakovski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Andrakovski tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.

Andrakovski controlling the position for now.
Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Andrakovski defends it.
Andrakovski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andrakovski keeps working.

Andrakovski is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Andrakovski avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Andrakovski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Andrakovski avoids the attempt from Gracie to control.
BOOM! Andrakovski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gracie can't escape the position.

Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Andrakovski wants to finish this one by submission but Gracie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Andrakovski.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Andrakovski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Andrakovski lands a big shot there that rocks Gracie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gracie is working to get back to half guard.

Andrakovski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gracie to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gracie shrugs it off.

Gracie has his foot on Andrakovski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andrakovski works his way back into a safe position though.
Andrakovski wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Andrakovski chips away with some ground and pound.

Andrei Andrakovski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Andrakovski stalling.
Gracie wants to control but Andrakovski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Andrakovski is taking a breather. Gracie says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Andrei Andrakovski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Andrakovski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gracie for as long as he can get away with.

Andrakovski is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.
Andrakovski is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Andrei Andrakovski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
