Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Vilas Boas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jett's entrance music is For Whom the Bell Tolls. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Jett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vilas Boas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Vilas Boas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jett drops his hands momentarily and Vilas Boas takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Jett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vilas Boas has him pressed against the cage.
Vilas Boas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jett walks away with a smile on his face. Vilas Boas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Vilas Boas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jett paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vilas Boas swivels and escapes.

Vilas Boas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vilas Boas .
Jett is rocked!
Vilas Boas cracks Jett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Jett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Vilas Boas has cracked Jett with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Vilas Boas lands another huge swinging hook and Jett tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jett, before Vilas Boas can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lucas Vilas Boas !
