Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Osama Robins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Gregorivich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Strippekikk. Gregorivich has chosen The Pot as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Gregorivich!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregorivich tries to clinch but Robins moves out of range.

Robins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gregorivich is working away from the top position though.

Gregorivich tries to pass the half guard into mount. Robins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gregorivich is looking to take a break and control but Robins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gregorivich lands a nice short elbow.
Robins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gregorivich is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Robins is trying to get back to full guard.
Gregorivich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gregorivich seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Robins thuds his shin into the meat of Gregorivich's side.
Gregorivich pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gregorivich shoots in looking for a takedown. Robins tries to sprawl out of it but Gregorivich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gregorivich tries to clinch but Robins is having none of it.
Gregorivich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Robins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Victor Gregorivich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gregorivich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robins as he jumps to the side.
Gregorivich looks gassed!
Robins throws a sloppy head kick and Gregorivich moves out of range easily.

and Robins counters with a slapping leg kick.
Gregorivich looks to clinch
and Robins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gregorivich's knee momentarily.
Robins lunges at Gregorivich with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gregorivich's hand.

Robins lands a head kick. Gregorivich smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Robins fakes the leg kick and cracks Gregorivich in the body.

A big head kick from Robins and Gregorivich is sent sprawling to the canvas!


Gregorivich is rocked!


It looks like Victor Gregorivich has been cut.
Robins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gregorivich is still in real trouble! Can Robins finish him?
Robins trying to control but Gregorivich is working from the bottom.
Gregorivich seems to have recovered his senses.
Robins throwing strikes from guard but Gregorivich blocks nicely.
Gregorivich is trying to keep Robins in close.
Robins throws and elbow that misses. Gregorivich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robins's guard. Nice move by Gregorivich!

Gregorivich avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gregorivich is looking to work some ground and pound but Robins has wrist control.
Robins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gregorivich's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gregorivich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robins keeps control of the position for the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robins looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Robins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gregorivich lands a jab to the head.
Robins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gregorivich misses with a straight right.
Gregorivich tries to clinch up
and Robins counters with a nice body kick.
Gregorivich closes the distance but Robins moves to the side

and Robins counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Robins looking to sit in guard and control but Gregorivich gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gregorivich stands and throws Robins's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Robins manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Gregorivich prevents Robins from improving his position.

Gregorivich is nestled in close to Robins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Robins is trying to control but Gregorivich manages to pass to mount!

Gregorivich wants to control the pace but Robins is squirming around nicely.

Gregorivich is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Robins can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gregorivich lands a big shot there that rocks Robins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gregorivich has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Robins's face.

Gregorivich has hold of Robins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Robins is bucking up trying to escape but Gregorivich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gregorivich is breathing heavily.
Robins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Robins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Gregorivich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gregorivich walks forward, straight into a front kick from Robins.
Robins lands a nice looking body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Osama Robins will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Robins.
Robins lands a nice looking body kick.
Robins tries a head kick but it misses.
Gregorivich has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Robins.

Robins throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Robins lands a nice looking body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Robins. That's going to slow Gregorivich down.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Robins - that will leave a mark!

Robins throws a head kick that Gregorivich semi-blocks.
Robins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gregorivich's head.
Gregorivich ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robins moves away.
Robins is looking to slow Gregorivich down with leg kicks.
Robins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Robins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gregorivich to the mat! Gregorivich manages to get full guard.
Gregorivich utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gregorivich takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Robins scores with a couple of short elbows.

Gregorivich is not content to let Robins control the position.
Gregorivich tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Robins creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gregorivich sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Robins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Robins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Robins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Robins is putting a hurting on Gregorivich here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gregorivich is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Victor Gregorivich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Robins in side control, throwing shots but Gregorivich defends.
Gregorivich tries to get back to half guard but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Osama Robins showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
