Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Art Connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ready Go (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connelly's entrance music is Deep down n dirty - Stereo mc's. A fine choice. Ready Go is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connelly connects with a looping right hand.
Connelly walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Go checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Go keeps the fight on the outside.
Connelly lands a nice shot to the body.
Connelly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Go shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Go slows the pace down in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Go has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Go tries to move into range but Connelly moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Go avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Go bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Connelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Go looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Go drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Connelly is not content to let Go control the position.
Connelly is looking to reverse the position.

Go grinds an elbow into Connelly's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Connelly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Go wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Go wants to lay and pray for a moment but Connelly keeps working.
Connelly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Go with the ground and pound but Connelly regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Connelly is refusing to be controlled, as Go sits in half guard.
Connelly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Go.
Connelly is looking to control Go's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Connelly avoid being mounted?
Connelly won't allow Go to pass to mount.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
