Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrance Time!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jubal Early!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time thows a body shot but no joy.
Early shoots in but Time avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Early takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fighters circling - Time throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Time looks to score with a jab to the body but Early is just out of range.
Time waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Early.

Early gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Time to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Time throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Early works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Time knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Early on the ground.
Time lands a couple of digs.
Time with a flurry of punches that miss.
Early utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Time throws a strike but Early rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Early trying to control but Time is working from the bottom.
Early working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Early trying to control but Time is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Time controlling the position.
Time is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Time closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Early jumps guard.
Time postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Early throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Early looks gassed!
Time scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Time looking to pass the guard.

Early escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Time gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Time looking to pass the guard.
Time thows a big elbow that misses.
Time throws a strike but Early rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Early stops Time from standing up.
Time on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Time tries to get out of the position.
Time wants to sweep but no luck.
Time wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Time trying to keep a closed guard but Early is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Time closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Early to the mat! Early manages to get full guard.
Time thows a big elbow that misses.
Time with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Early working a defensive guard here.
Time content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Time with a nice head shot there.
Time scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Time working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terrance Time dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Time fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Early, pushing him back against the cage.

Time manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Time holds on and takes a little breather.
Time is trying to keep Early in close.
Time keeping moving, preventing Early from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Time pulls Early in close to his closed guard and prevents Early from doing any damage or advancing position.
Time could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Early wants to control from the top but Time keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Time looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Early puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Time is holding on to half guard well.
Time tries to roll over but Early keeps him under control.
Time tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Early has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Early looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Early is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Early is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Time is surviving well by controlling Early's body position as best he can.
Early thowing shots but they're missing.
Time is looking to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Time tries to hold on but Early postures up.

Early is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Time is forced to tap! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jubal Early!
