Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bean pole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bean pole has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Danny Hendricks's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Hendricks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bean pole! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! pole thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hendricks if he has to take too many more of those.
Hendricks is looking to clinch but pole is avoiding it.
Hendricks tries to land a body kick and pole makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hendricks really felt that one! Hendricks tries for a takedown but pole sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hendricks throws a head kick that misses and pole counters with a head kick. That will keep Hendricks thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Danny Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hendricks tries to clinch up and pole holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hendricks avoiding damage as pole throws knees to the body.
pole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hendricks looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! pole flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
pole is refusing to be controlled, as Hendricks sits in half guard. Hendricks is really struggling to control pole but he's trying to hold on to the position. Hendricks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. pole flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hendricks is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hendricks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. pole has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendricks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. pole throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hendricks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hendricks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hendricks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. pole throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. pole has his foot on Hendricks's thigh. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hendricks wants to control from the top but pole keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hendricks throws a combination. pole tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Bean pole has been cut. Hendricks throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends pole stumbling backwards into the cage! pole bounces back off the cage towards Hendricks, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hendricks lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hendricks celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Danny Hendricks!
