Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blackmore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael James!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmore avoids the head kick by James.
James misses with a double jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for James.
Danga de danga de dang - James scores with a four punch combination!
Blackmore takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
James scores with a punch to the head.
James stuffs the takedown attempt from Blackmore. Blackmore gets slowly back to his feet.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blackmore circles away quickly and effectively.
Blackmore wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance.
James pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Blackmore dodges the punch combination from James.
James lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Blackmore fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Blackmore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

James misses with a double jab.
Blackmore fails to land the takedown.
James swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Michael James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blackmore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blackmore off to one side.
James fails to land with a series of punches.
James fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James looks to land a combination. Blackmore sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Richard Blackmore has been cut.
James throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackmore shoots for a double leg takedown but James sprawls well. He's pushed Blackmore's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Blackmore. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Blackmore is breathing heavily.
James fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Blackmore walks into a straight right hand from James.
Blackmore takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
James connects with a jab.
