The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pein misses with the combination.
Dias throws a series of punches but Pein moves out of range.
Pein throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dias counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Pein is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dias is controlling him.
Dias works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Dias is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dias wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pein keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dias stops Pein from getting back to his feet.
Pein is staying active underneath Dias, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pein avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dias.

Dias is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dias looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Dias is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pein is just riding it out for now. Dias eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pein misses with a double jab

and Dias counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pein!
Dias takes Pein's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dias working for a choke but Pein is defending well.
Pein covering up well under a barage of strikes.

Dias lands a shot to the head.
Dias thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Dias is breathing heavily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Pein wants to get back to his feet.

Dias is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dias gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dias gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dias apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Dias moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Pein throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Dias counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pein!
Pein is squirming around, avoiding Dias's attempts to control the action.
Dias won't let Pein get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Dias is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Pein won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Dias off his unconscious opponent!
