The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tnornhammer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tnornhammer showed some decent athleticism there.
Tnornhammer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kempton sees it coming and defends easily.
Tnornhammer is looking for a kimura but Kempton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tnornhammer to get the leverage.
Kempton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tnornhammer pulls his head out easily.
Kempton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Tnornhammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tnornhammer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kempton's head.
Tnornhammer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kempton!
Kempton is trying to reverse the position but instead Tnornhammer has taken his back - oops!
Kempton defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Tnornhammer's arms.

Tnornhammer doesn't have the hooks in and Kempton manages to turn into his guard.
Kempton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tnornhammer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kempton, into his guard.
Kempton looks gassed!

Tnornhammer seems to be working for a kimura but Kempton defends the submission attempt.
Tnornhammer seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kempton is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
