Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masoud Mazadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Junitzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junitzu has chosen Tarantula by Pendulum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masoud Mazadi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thiago Junitzu! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junitzu throws a head kick that misses. Junitzu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Junitzu tries a head kick but it misses.
Mazadi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mazadi wants to pass the guard but Junitzu is keeping the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mazadi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazadi wants to pass the guard but Junitzu is keeping the position. Mazadi throws a big right hand that misses. Mazadi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mazadi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mazadi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mazadi with a flurry of punches that miss. Mazadi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mazadi sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mazadi pushing down on Junitzu's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mazadi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mazadi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Masoud Mazadi just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mazadi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Junitzu swivels and escapes. Masoud Mazadi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mazadi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Junitzu defending well as Mazadi loads up on a big left hand. Junitzu is breathing heavily. Mazadi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mazadi slows the pace down in half guard. Mazadi really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Masoud Mazadi just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mazadi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mazadi showed some decent athleticism there. Well, if Mazadi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Junitzu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mazadi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mazadi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Junitzu for as long as he can get away with.

Junitzu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mazadi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Junitzu sprawls well initially but Mazadi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mazadi performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Masoud Mazadi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Masoud Mazadi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mazadi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
