Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between raymond batman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and the natural Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). batman comes to the cage accompanied by lil boosie set it off. Couture has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! raymond batman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, raymond batman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, the natural Couture!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - batman finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Couture looks gassed!
Couture circles away from the clinch attempt.
batman thows a body shot but no joy.
batman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by batman.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from batman.
Couture swats away the attempt to clinch by batman.
batman shoots in and drives through. Couture sprawls well.
batman tries to close the distance and clinch but Couture swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
batman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Couture tries to avoid it but batman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Couture to the ground. Couture escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for raymond batman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
batman lands with a slapping head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
batman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Couture is fending him off so far but batman persists. Nope, Couture circles away and we're back to standing.
batman tries for a takedown but Couture sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
batman fails with the takedown.
No joy there for batman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
batman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Couture drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
batman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Couture doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Couture manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

batman wants to sweep here but Couture controlling him for the moment.
Couture wants to stand but batman is controlling his posture from full guard.
batman trying to keep a closed guard but Couture is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
batman is looking to stand up but Couture isn't so interested in that idea.
Couture throwing strikes from guard but batman blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
batman is trying to keep Couture in close.
batman managing to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
batman with a lazy takedown attempt
and Couture counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Couture postures up.
Couture wants to pass the guard but batman is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
batman misses with a takedown attempt
and Couture decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in batman's guard.
batman keeping full guard, as Couture tries to pass.
batman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Couture is breathing heavily.
batman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

batman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Couture doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time batman.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
batman wants to stand up but Couture is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Couture wants to get back to his feet.
batman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
batman passes the guard and advances to mount!
batman trying to control but Couture is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
batman with good strikes from the mount here!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Couture can't escape the position.
batman working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
batman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Couture is looking to escape.
batman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but the natural Couture will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
batman fails with a takedown attempt.
Couture defends well against a solid takedown attempt from batman.
batman's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and batman duly obliges.
batman closes the distance and clinches up with Couture, looking for a takedown. batman pushes Couture against the cage but Couture circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

batman misses with a low kick.
batman is looking to land body kicks.
batman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Couture pinned against the cage. Couture gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
batman shoots in and drives through. Couture sprawls well.
raymond batman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

batman misses with a takedown attempt
and batman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
batman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Couture keeps the fight on the outside.
batman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Couture.
batman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Couture misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Couture misses with an uppercut.
batman closes the distance but Couture moves to the side
and Couture counters with a lovely shot to the body.
batman tries to clinch but Couture moves out of range.
batman misses with a takedown attempt
and Couture counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for batman!
batman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Couture on the ground.
Couture raining down shots from the mount!
batman is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Couture connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Couture prevents batman from getting the reversal.
batman tries to hold on but Couture postures up.
batman avoids a series of strikes thrown by Couture.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
batman tries to reverse the position but Couture maintains control.
Couture avoids the attempt from batman to control.
Couture misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that's the end of the fight!
the natural Couture comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Couture has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
