Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Doralez!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Now misses with a few strikes there.
Now fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doralez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Now really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Doralez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Now takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Doralez wants to break free but Now has control.
Now tries to work over Doralez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Some bone on bone action there as Now checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Now tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Doralez counter with a right hand.

and Now takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Now swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Doralez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Now dives in and grabs Doralez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doralez pushes down on Now's head and hops out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Doralez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Now swivels and escapes.
Now throws a combination that misses
and Doralez counters with a left to the body.
Now is looking to clinch.

and Now counters with a left and a right that stings Doralez.
Now throws a head kick but Doralez moves out of range.
Doralez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Now loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Now trying to control but Doralez is working from the bottom.
Now is really struggling to control Doralez but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Now gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Doralez connects with a body shot.
Now shoots in for a takedown but Doralez shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Whos Now. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doralez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Whos Now will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Now stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Now fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doralez avoids it really well and circles away.

Now with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Doralez to score with a decent uppercut.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Doralez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Now as he jumps to the side.

and Doralez counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Now goes for a takedown attempt but Doralez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Doralez's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Doralez duly obliges.
Doralez wants to clinch up but Now keeps it at a distance.

Doralez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Now jumps guard and drags Doralez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Now trying to control the position here.
Now is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Now is pulling down on Doralez's head. It's preventing any offense from Doralez, at least for the moment.
Now is trying to keep Doralez in close.
Doralez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Now has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Doralez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Whos Now showed his dominance in that final round.
