And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overmars looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Assassin is fending him off so far but Overmars persists. Nope, Assassin circles away and we're back to standing.
Overmars throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Polish Assassin has been cut.
Assassin shoots for a takedown but Overmars saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Assassin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Overmars's waist but Overmars gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assassin off to one side.
Overmars throws out a loose jab but Assassin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Overmars has his takedown stuffed
and Assassin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Assassin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Assassin distracts Overmars with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Assassin advances to half guard.
Assassin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Assassin working Overmars over with strikes.

Overmars keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Assassin in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Overmars tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Assassin!
