Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mankee King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jejomar Binay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jejomar Binay will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mankee King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jejomar Binay! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Binay keeps the fight on the outside. King circles away from the clinch attempt.
Binay doesn't manage to clinch there - King circles away.
King looking for a takedown here - he's got it. King won't allow Binay to get back to his feet. King controls from within his opponent's guard. King looking to sit in guard and control but Binay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Binay is looking to stand up but King won't let him. Binay won't allow King to sweep him here. Binay trying to control but King is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Binay working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. King scores a takedown into full mount! Binay is working to get back to half guard.
King could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. King landing punches. Binay keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Binay throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Binay is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Binay looks gassed! King controlling his opponent. King in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Binay really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
You get the feeling that Binay really doesn't like being in this position too much.
King unloading with bombs! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. King has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Binay's face.
Binay is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
BOOM! King connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Binay is trying to escape the mount.
King fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A nice elbow there by King. King with a couple of short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Binay wants to hold on but King pushes him away. King with a couple of short strikes. King lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
King looking for a guillotine from mount but Binay is having none of it. Binay tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Binay trying desperately to get to his feet.
King working away from the top, dropping strikes. King working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. King breaks from Binay's wrist control and lands an elbow. King lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Binay in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Binay is squirming around, avoiding King's attempts to control the action. Binay is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mankee King dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. King is nestled in close to Binay, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. King wants to take a breather but Binay is having none of it. Binay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Binay pushes King off looking to stand but King dives back in and keeps control.
King is taking a breather. Binay says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. King trying to control the action but Binay is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Binay taking some punishment here, with King in his half guard. Binay trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. King drops an elbow to the side of Binay's head.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Binay doesn't succeed with the takedown and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Binay's guard. King working some strikes from top position. King landing with the ground and pound. Mankee King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. King distracts Binay with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King is working hard here to advance position. King with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. King is in close to Binay's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Binay is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea. Binay throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. King feints and as Binay raises his hands in defense, King changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. King with a nice head shot there. Binay looking to control.
King works over Binay with some ground and pound from guard. Binay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. King looking to pass the guard. Binay throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Binay is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Binay is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Binay is trying to control the position from the bottom.

No luck so far. King is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mankee King dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
King drives through with a takedown into guard. Binay wants to stand up but King is controlling him. Binay wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and King manages to pass to side control. King controlling the pace. King stops Binay from getting back to his feet.
Binay taking some punishment here, with King in his half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. King looks to score some points with some ground and pound. King content to control rather than advance. King working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from King there. King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Binay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. King looks to score some points with some ground and pound. King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Binay with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. King prevents Binay from standing back up.
King prevents Binay from improving his position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Binay's temple. King seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Binay tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance. Binay moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off. Binay misses with a takedown and King counters with a nice double leg into half guard. King keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Binay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Binay is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him. King looking to sit in guard and control but Binay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King working a defensive guard but Binay passes into half guard.
Binay is looking to stall here but King recovers full guard. Binay drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and King dives on top into guard. King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Binay is on top in guard.
King is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Binay gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Binay stops a takedown attempt from King.
Binay wants to break free but King has control.
King jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Binay walks away with a smile on his face. King gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Binay has his takedown stuffed and King counters with a takedown into side control. Jejomar Binay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mankee King is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. King in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Mankee King showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
