Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kananga Vasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Callahan comes to the cage accompanied by Rock You Like A Hurricane. Vasco has chosen Whiskey in the Jar as his entrance music. Kananga Vasco has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benjamin Callahan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kananga Vasco! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Callahan closes the distance and lands a one-two. Vasco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Callahan tries to clinch up. Vasco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Callahan is pushing Vasco's head away, looking to escape. Vasco manages to hold on to the position though. Callahan tries to bench press Vasco off him but Vasco keeps the position. Vasco looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Vasco tries for a kimura but Callahan is defending well. Vasco advances to full mount. Callahan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasco on the ground. Vasco working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasco goes for an armbar but Callahan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Callahan. Vasco is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vasco looks gassed! Callahan forces his way into half guard. Callahan wants to stand up but Vasco is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Callahan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Vasco defending well though. Callahan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Callahan misses with a head shot. Vasco uses the momentum to regain guard. Callahan is looking to stand up but Vasco won't let him. Callahan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Callahan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Callahan is looking to work some ground and pound but Vasco has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Callahan tries to clinch there but Vasco circles away.
Callahan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Callahan. Vasco shoots in for a double leg but Callahan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Callahan misses with a leg kick. Callahan misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Callahan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Callahan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vasco. Vasco circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Callahan misses with a leg kick. Callahan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vasco checks a leg kick nicely. Vasco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Benjamin Callahan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kananga Vasco. Callahan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some wild striking there from Callahan.

Kananga Vasco dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Callahan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Benjamin Callahan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Callahan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Callahan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Callahan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vasco has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Callahan is looking to defend but Vasco has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Callahan! Vasco pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Callahan taps out and this one is all over!
