Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terppa Nupikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair cracks Nupikka with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nupikka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blair's waist but Blair gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nupikka off to one side.
Nupikka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blair as he avoids it easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blair!
Nupikka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blair but Blair pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terppa Nupikka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nupikka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Blair's corner calls for a 1-2. Blair obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Nupikka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blair is trying to defend but Nupikka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Blair pushes Nupikka off looking to stand but Nupikka dives back in and keeps control.

Blair flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Nupikka tries to pass the half guard into mount. Blair knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Nupikka could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nupikka is trying to work for a kimura but Blair is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Blair works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Nupikka tries to move into range but Blair moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hank Blair is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nupikka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blair as he avoids it easily.
A left and a right from Blair both land. Nice combination.
Nupikka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blair connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nupikka momentarily.
Hank Blair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blair paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nupikka is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Blair.
Nupikka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Blair moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Blair comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A jab from Blair finds it's way through Nupikka's defenses.
Blair takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nupikka ducks right into an uppercut from Blair.
Nupikka looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Blair fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nupikka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Blair cracks Nupikka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Blair lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blair lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nupikka falls backwards - clearly groggy! Blair dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
