Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Greyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Rhea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dick Greyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Rhea! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greyson wants to clinch. Rhea throws a sloppy head kick and Greyson moves out of range easily. Rhea closes the distance but Greyson moves to the side and Greyson counters with a one-two to the body. Greyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rhea as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greyson tries for a takedown but Rhea sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rhea tries to clinch and Greyson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greyson is working for a submission of some sort.
Greyson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rhea doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Greyson. Rhea kicks off Greyson and gets to his feet. Greyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rhea tries to avoid it but Greyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rhea to the ground. Rhea escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Greyson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rhea doesn't manage to clinch there - Greyson circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rhea tries to clinch but Greyson moves out of range. Greyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rhea as he jumps to the side. Rhea throws a head kick that misses. Rhea tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Greyson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Greyson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rhea has managed to free his arm - good work. Greyson is breathing heavily. Ground and pound from Greyson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greyson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rhea knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rhea is trying to stand back up but Greyson is controlling him
Greyson wants to stand but Rhea has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Rhea is trying to stand back up but Greyson is controlling him
Greyson is trying to control the action in half guard but Rhea is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rhea stuffs the takedown attempt from Greyson. Greyson gets slowly back to his feet. Rhea is looking to clinch. Rhea scoring well with a low kick there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rhea misses with the combination.
Greyson fails to land the takedown. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Rhea stuffs the takedown. Greyson shoots in but no luck this time. A head kick by Greyson misses and Rhea counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Rhea clinches with his opponent.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Greyson. Rhea darts in and clinches Greyson up against the cage. Rhea gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Greyson.
Rhea throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Greyson blocks it with crossed arms. A bit of stalling here from Rhea.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A decent looking body kick lands there for Greyson. Rhea tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rhea is breathing heavily. Rhea tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Greyson shoots for a takedown but Rhea saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Some wild striking there from Rhea.
