Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leo Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyatt comes to the cage accompanied by Tori Amos-Sleeps with Butterflies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leo Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelvin Day! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt swats away the attempt to clinch by Day. Wyatt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wyatt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Day was covering up waiting for the punch and Wyatt finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wyatt in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wyatt wants to pass the guard but Day is keeping the position.
Day is looking for a triangle here but Wyatt uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Day tries to bench press Wyatt off him but Wyatt keeps the position.

Day is looking to control Wyatt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Day avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Day wants to get back to his feet.
Day has one foot on Wyatt's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Day or perhaps it was just good defense by Wyatt which made him look bad. Day is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wyatt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wyatt tries to avoid it but Day manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wyatt to the ground. Wyatt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Leo Wyatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Day. Day keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wyatt cracks Day with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wyatt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Day sneaks back into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wyatt lands a nice short elbow. Wyatt prevents Day from improving his position. Wyatt is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Day looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Day looks gassed! Wyatt scoring with strikes to the body and head. Day wants to control but Wyatt is keeping busy.
Wyatt is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Wyatt prevents Day from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Wyatt dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Wyatt trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Day manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Wyatt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Day. Wyatt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Day on the ground.

Day wanted to stand there but Wyatt had control of the position. Day tries to free his leg and advance position but Wyatt is retaining full guard. Wyatt wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Day manages to pass to side control. Wyatt is controlling Day's position as best he can from this difficult position. Wyatt missing with punches from the bottom.

![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/refstandup.gif) Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice defenses there by Day. Day fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wyatt works Day's body with a nice hook.
Wyatt is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Day's half guard. Day tries to roll over but Wyatt keeps him under control.

Day on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Wyatt. Wyatt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Day's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Wyatt dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Wyatt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Day was well out of range. Poor timing from Wyatt.
Wyatt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Day can't escape the position.
Day wants to hold on but Wyatt pushes him away. Day is looking to get to half guard. Wyatt working Day over with strikes here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wyatt controlling from mount. Wyatt landing strikes from the mount and Day is in trouble! Wyatt controlling from mount. Day wants to hold on but Wyatt pushes him away.

Day takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Day sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Leo Wyatt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Day is looking to stand up but Wyatt isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Day had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wyatt defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Leo Wyatt showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wyatt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
