Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Barros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Phoenix might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to WorldWide Gunnin'. Barros comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Adoled by Planet Hemp kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros lands a jab to the head.
Phoenix takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Phoenix tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barros swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barros throws a nice looking combination but Phoenix bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barros scores with a nice head shot.
Barros ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Phoenix throws a low kick but Barros avoids it.
Barros displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Phoenix throws out the jab.
Phoenix throws a combination that misses
and Barros cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barros lands a left and a right that send Phoenix crashing to the mat, dazed. Barros thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Phoenix is rocked!

It looks like Paul Phoenix has been cut.
Phoenix is breathing heavily.
Barros throws a pinpoint strike between Phoenix's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Phoenix crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Barros scores a great knockout victory!
