Crunch! Bonner slams his shin into Sharma's torso.

Sharma chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bonner can pounce on him.

Bonner feints and then cracks Sharma's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sharma down.

Bonner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sharma doesn't seem bothered though.
Sharma is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Sharma is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bonner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sharma to the mat. Sharma regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sharma utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bonner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonner is looking to work some ground and pound but Sharma has wrist control.

Bonner controls from within his opponent's guard.

Bonner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bonner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sharma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Bonner counters with a good, hard body kick but Sharma shrugs it off.

Bonner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bonner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sharma's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good leg kick by Bonner there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Myke Bonner seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bonner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sharma's head.
