Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Risto Korpisuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Speedos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Korpisuo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Humpparaakki by Eläkeläiset. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Risto Korpisuo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ken Speedos! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Speedos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Korpisuo's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Speedos is stalling here. Korpisuo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Speedos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Korpisuo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Korpisuo trying to control the position but Speedos is working away. Speedos can't do much from the bottom here. Korpisuo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Speedos manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Korpisuo tries to get to full guard but Speedos has control of the leg. Speedos throwing shots but Korpisuo is blocking nicely. Korpisuo is defending against the submission attempts here by Speedos.
Speedos is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speedos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Korpisuo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Speedos. Speedos prevents Korpisuo from improving his position. Speedos looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Speedos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Speedos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Korpisuo is looking to regain half guard here but Speedos keeps moving and retains side control. Korpisuo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Korpisuo wants to improve his position but Speedos is controlling well.
Speedos missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Speedos prevents Korpisuo from improving his position. Speedos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speedos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Korpisuo is just riding it out for now. Speedos eventually gives up the hold. Speedos looks gassed! Korpisuo tries to get to full guard but Speedos has control of the leg. Speedos lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Speedos wants to pass the guard but Korpisuo is defending well. Speedos is keen to just control but Korpisuo is a slippery customer. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Speedos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Speedos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Speedos dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Korpisuo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Speedos wants to control but Korpisuo is keeping busy.
Speedos is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Korpisuo is staying active. Korpisuo prevents Speedos from improving his position. Speedos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Korpisuo stopping the sweep attempt from Speedos. Speedos is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speedos is trying to keep Korpisuo in close.

Korpisuo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Speedos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Speedos regains full guard. Nicely done. Speedos has his foot on Korpisuo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Korpisuo works his way back into a safe position though. Speedos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Korpisuo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Korpisuo trying to control the position from guard on top but Speedos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Korpisuo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Korpisuo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Korpisuo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Speedos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Korpisuo has managed to get both his arms back between Speedos's legs - danger averted. Korpisuo looking to pass the guard. Speedos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Speedos working for a triangle but Korpisuo defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo landing some decent shots from guard. Korpisuo throwing strikes from guard but Speedos blocks nicely. Korpisuo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Speedos has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Korpisuo is looking to defend but Speedos has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Korpisuo! Speedos pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Korpisuo taps out and this one is all over!
