Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Macedo throws a push kick but appleseed slaps the foot to one side.
appleseed shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
appleseed stands up and waves to Macedo to follow him.
appleseed tries to clinch up but Macedo circles away and keeps his distance.

appleseed seems to be working for a kimura but Macedo defends the submission attempt.

Macedo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with appleseed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

appleseed has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You can see the frustration on Macedo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Even with his hooks in, appleseed manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Macedo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

appleseed is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Macedo with him. Macedo is trying to defend but appleseed has an arm under the chin now! Macedo grimaces and is forced to tap out!
