Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't no Sunshine. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Rodrigues scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Tyson Jones has been cut.
Rodrigues has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Rodrigues manages to pull guard.
Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rodrigues has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Rodrigues's legs - danger averted.
Rodrigues escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones is looking to stand up but Rodrigues won't let him.
Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodrigues wants to sweep but no luck.
Rodrigues controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rodrigues is proving hard to escape from.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rodrigues avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tyson Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rodrigues.
Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rodrigues counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rodrigues gets a takedown into half guard.
Rodrigues throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely.

Rodrigues is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
Jones is trying to stand.
Jones looks gassed!
Ground and pound from Rodrigues.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rodrigues looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodrigues. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rodrigues scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rodrigues throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rodrigues seems to be looking for submissions.

Jones tries to kick Rodrigues off in order to stand up. Rodrigues Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sloppy strikes there by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues landing a few strikes.
Rodrigues is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jones pushes Rodrigues away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rodrigues gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rodrigues is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jones looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rodrigues gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jones is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rodrigues lets go of the hold and Jones can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lucio Rodrigues!
