Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andersen Koscheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Killian Swaver! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koscheck moves in looking to clinch but Swaver pushes him off. Swaver scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Swaver working the head with strikes. Koscheck manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Koscheck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Swaver pushes Koscheck off looking to stand but Koscheck dives back in and keeps control.

A right-left combo lands from Koscheck. Koscheck leaves Swaver with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Swaver looks gassed! Koscheck moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Swaver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Left hook, right uppercut from Koscheck. Koscheck bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Koscheck grinds an elbow into Swaver's temple. Koscheck misses with the ground and pound. Koscheck working the ground and pound. The ground and pound from Koscheck seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Koscheck stands up and we're back to a striking position. Koscheck stalks Swaver and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Swaver's face. Swaver staggers backwards, shaken. Swaver tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Koscheck is able to avoid easily. Koscheck tries to close the distance and clinch up but Swaver swats him away and circles back towards the center. Swaver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koscheck as he avoids it easily. Andersen Koscheck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killian Swaver.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swaver feints and as Koscheck raises his hands in defense, Swaver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Koscheck throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Koscheck tries to clinch but Swaver moves out of range.
