The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gant throws a low kick but Tanabe avoids it.
Clive Gant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanabe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gant.

Tanabe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tanabe connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gant tumbling to the canvas! Tanabe pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gant was done - good stoppage!
