Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dorian Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dorian Grey! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez takes the fight into the clinch. Grey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sanchez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Grey tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sanchez turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sanchez manages to end up in side control. Sanchez wants to control but Grey is keeping him busy. Grey is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Grey wants to get back to his feet. Sanchez is looking to take a break and control but Grey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sanchez is trying to get an arm triangle but Grey is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez tries for a kimura but Grey is defending well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grey off to one side. Diego Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dorian Grey. Grey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sanchez is not content to let Grey control the position. Grey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanchez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sanchez is trying to control Grey's posture but Grey avoids it. Grey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanchez keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey tries for a kimura but Sanchez is defending well. Sanchez can't do much from the bottom here. Sanchez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sanchez struggling a bit here. Grey working the head with strikes. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Grey trying to control the position but Sanchez is working away. Grey cracks Sanchez with an elbow. That is naaassty. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grey is working to tighten is grip on Sanchez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sanchez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Grey is really squeezing tight and eventually Sanchez passes out! Grey breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
