Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ST Pierre shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mann is trying to defend but ST Pierre finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann pushes ST Pierre off but ST Pierre dives into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ST Pierre tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

ST Pierre takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
ST Pierre wants to control the pace but Mann is squirming around nicely.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with ST Pierre in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but ST Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ST Pierre circles away quickly and effectively.

Antonio Mann is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mann leaves ST Pierre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

ST Pierre remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
