Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Bush! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xemenez ! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bush won't allow to sweep him here. Bush thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. tries to land a sweep but no joy. trying to keep a closed guard but Bush is proving a slippery customer.

He hasn't managed just yet though. Bush is working for a kimura but is defending it quite comfortably.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Bush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. is trying to keep Bush in close.

Horrible takedown by Bush or perhaps it was just good defense by which made him look bad. Jonny Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. is trying to control Bush's posture but Bush avoids it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bush working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Jonny Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. is looking to improve his position but Bush isn't that keen on the idea. Bush working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bush off and cradles 's limp body as Bush celebrates with his corner.
