Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santonio Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anquan Boldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boldin pinned against the cage. Boldin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Holmes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boldin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boldin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boldin!
Holmes throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Holmes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boldin pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Holmes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boldin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
