PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Larionov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mark Collie - In time. Frank Castle told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Larionov.
Larionov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Larionov stuffs the takedown attempt from Castle. Castle gets slowly back to his feet.
Castle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Larionov swivels and escapes.
Castle fails with a takedown attempt.
Nikolai Larionov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Castle.

Larionov rushes Castle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Larionov stops a takedown attempt from Castle.

Larionov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Larionov manages to end up in side control.
Castle manages to get back to half guard.

Castle has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Larionov. Oh but Castle has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Larionov goes limp - he's gone! Castle jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
