Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave slavakovak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smees Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). slavakovak comes to the cage accompanied by voices. On his way into the cage it seems that Dave slavakovak has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dave slavakovak seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Me gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Me is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst slavakovak is controlling him.
Me is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
slavakovak tries to stand but Me is controlling from the bottom.

Me wants to stand and escape but slavakovak is having none of it.
slavakovak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
slavakovak controls from within his opponent's guard.
slavakovak pushes down on Me's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Me misses with an attempted mid kick.
Me tries for a takedown but slavakovak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now slavakovak is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Me is looking to stand up but slavakovak isn't so interested in that idea.

Me is pulling down on slavakovak's head. It's preventing any offense from slavakovak, at least for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Me will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

slavakovak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Me gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

slavakovak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Me is trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Smees Me will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and slavakovak counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
slavakovak checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
slavakovak misses with a few strikes there.
slavakovak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Me circles away quickly and effectively.

Me has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. slavakovak is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Me.

Me shoots in for a double leg but slavakovak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Me keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Me lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Dave slavakovak has been cut.
Me throws a series of punches but slavakovak avoids them all with ease.

Me changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. slavakovak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dave slavakovak will probably get the nod.

Me looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? slavakovak is fending him off so far but Me persists. Nope, slavakovak circles away and we're back to standing.

Me looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks slavakovak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
slavakovak has hold of Me's hands but Me slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
