The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glasgow connects with a right hand. Skogsbaer shakes it off.
Skogsbaer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Skogsbaer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Glasgow bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Glasgow misses the shot to the body.

Oooh a lovely combination from Skogsbaer sends Glasgow down but not out. Skogsbaer dives into side control looking to finish.


It looks like Anton Glasgow has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glasgow is trying to improve his position.
Glasgow has one of Skogsbaer's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Skogsbaer in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Skogsbaer tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glasgow regains half guard, as Skogsbaer was trying to land strikes.
Skogsbaer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Skogsbaer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Skogsbaer steps into range and cracks Glasgow with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Glasgow flops backwards and Skogsbaer dives into his guard looking to finish!

Skogsbaer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Glasgow is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Skogsbaer, into his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Skogsbaer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Skogsbaer throws a body punch but Glasgow moves out of range.
Glasgow throws a looping overhand right but Skogsbaer ducks down to avoid it.
Skogsbaer moves out of range as Glasgow strikes.
Glasgow lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Skogsbaer at a distance.
A punch combination from Skogsbaer misses.
Skogsbaer takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Skogsbaer looks gassed!
Skogsbaer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Jean Pierre Skogsbaer has been cut.
Glasgow scores with a punch to the head.
A jab from Glasgow misses.
Glasgow scores with a jab to the jaw.
Glasgow circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Skogsbaer to the canvas! Skogsbaer doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Glasgow keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
