The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Vukovic pushes him off.
Thomas tries to clinch up but Vukovic circles away and keeps his distance.
Vukovic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thomas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lennox Vukovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vukovic drops Thomas with a left right combo! Vukovic follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like David Thomas has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

David Thomas's cut is getting worse.
Vukovic looking to control but instead Thomas has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Vukovic drops an elbow to the side of Thomas's head.

David Thomas's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Vukovic controlling the pace.
Vukovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thomas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Thomas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vukovic not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Thomas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Vukovic throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Vukovic throwing shots but Thomas is blocking nicely.
Thomas misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Vukovic trying to mount his opponent but Thomas defends it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Thomas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
An inside leg kick lands from Vukovic.
Thomas is breathing heavily.

Vukovic clinches up against the cage.

Vukovic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thomas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jeez, David Thomas's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Thomas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
