Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colt Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Francis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardin's entrance music is Thunder Kiss '65 by White Zombie. A fine choice. Colt Hardin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis tries to clinch there but Hardin circles away.
Francis tries to keep at a distance but Hardin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hardin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Francis.
Hardin decides to pull guard.
Francis won't allow Hardin to sweep him here.
Francis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Francis on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

It looks like Martin Francis has been cut.
Hardin has managed to clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Francis stalling in the clinch but Hardin improves position.
Hardin lands an uppercut.
Hardin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Franciss head.

Francis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hardin walks away with a smile on his face. Francis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hardin has managed to clinch.
Hardin cracks Francis with a nice body shot.
Hardin creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Francis's defenses.
That has opened up Martin Francis's cut even more.
Hardin softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The cut above Martin Francis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Hardin landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hardin presses Francis against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Colt Hardin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Francis.
Hardin digs a right hand underneath Francis's ribcage. Francis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hardin lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Martin Francis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A left hand lands to the body for Hardin.
Hardin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hardin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hardin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hardin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Francis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hardin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hardin has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Hardin controlling the position easily from mount.
The referee warns Francis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Martin Francis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Colt Hardin!
