Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ohad Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everett has chosen Dont Monkey With Another Mans Monkey as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Swick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ohad Everett! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Everett swats away the attempt to clinch by Swick. Swick shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Everett has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Swick is working away from the top position though. Everett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Swick pulls his head out easily. Swick decides to stand up. Swick fails to land with a series of punches.
Swick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Swick wants to clinch up but Everett keeps it at a distance. Swick fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Everett. Swick moves away from the strike by Everett.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Everett swivels and escapes. Everett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Swick as he avoids it easily. Everett gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Swick to score an easy takedown into full guard. Swick trying to control but Everett is working from the bottom. Swick stands up from guard. Let's bang! Swick fails to land with a series of punches.
Everett shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Swick counters with a series of strikes. Everett will be more careful next time no doubt. Everett connects with a high kick.
It looks like Mike Swick has been cut. Swick looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Everett looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Swick working some strikes from top position. Swick trying to control but Everett is working from the bottom. Swick throws a big right hand that misses. Everett is looking for a triangle but Swick pushes his legs off easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Swick decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Everett, up you get! Swick lands with a nice combination. Everett backs away looking to recover. Everett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Swick counters with a two punch combo. Mike Swick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ohad Everett. Swick scores with a spinning back kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swick scores with a takedown into Everett's guard. Swick is looking to stand up but Everett won't let him. Swick wants to pass the guard but Everett is keeping the position. Swick lands a couple of decent looking shots. Swick wants to stand but Everett is controlling his posture from full guard. Everett is adopting a defensive guard. Everett trying to strike off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett is trying to control the position but Swick postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Swick throws a head kick but Everett moves out of range.

A solid body kick from Swick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Swick is defended easily by Everett. Swick tries to close the distance and clinch but Everett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Swick dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Swick's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Everett throws a body kick the misses and Swick counters with a nice double leg into side control. Everett won't be happy with that. Swick misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Swick tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Swick thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Swick working away. Everett takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Swick slips under a jab from Everett. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters circling - Swick throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett throws a head kick that misses. Swick doesn't manage to clinch there - Everett circles away.
Everett lands with a right hand. Mike Swick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swick fails with a takedown attempt. Swick scores with a head kick.
Everett closes the distance and clinches up with Swick, looking for a takedown. Everett pushes Swick against the cage but Swick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Swick uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Everett has time to react. Swick misses with a wild combination.
Swick shoots in looking for a takedown. Everett tries to sprawl out of it but Swick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Everett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mike Swick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Swick. Everett shrugs it off though. Swick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Everett. Nice sprawl there from Swick as Everett shoots in. Swick throws a right and a left that both miss. Swick throws a series of punches but Everett moves out of range. Everett showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Swick.
Swick tries to clinch up. Everett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Swick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Everett with a lazy takedown attempt and Swick counters with a three punch combo that has Everett backing up. Everett nods at Swick to acknowledge the strikes. Mike Swick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ohad Everett. Everett tries to clinch but Swick moves away and Swick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Swick fails to land with a series of punches.
Swick cracks Everett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Everett throws a sloppy head kick and Swick counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Everett thinking. Swick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck for Swick with that takedown attempt. Swick tries to clinch up but Everett circles away and keeps his distance. Swick slaps away a takedown attempt from Everett, before circling back to the center of the mat. Swick closes the distance looking to clinch and Everett counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swick scores with a decent looking hook. Swick with a lazy takedown attempt and Everett counters with a straight right hand. Swick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Everett. Everett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Swick counters with a nice body shot. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Swick, right into the meat.
Swick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Swick showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everett is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Swick is refusing to be controlled, as Everett sits in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swick wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swick actively working from the bottom here. Everett is looking for a kimura but Swick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Everett to get the leverage. Swick is defending against the submission attempts here by Everett.
Swick looks like he's trying to stand up.
Everett wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swick keeps working. Mike Swick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Everett is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Everett seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Swick does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Swick makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Everett has his takedown stuffed and Swick counters with a nice double leg into guard. Everett looking for a triangle here. Swick is fighting it but it looks tight! Everett pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Swick is tapping out - this one is all over!
