The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rains shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lobe's guard.
Lobe wants to sweep here but Rains controlling him for the moment.
Rains trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lobe trying to keep a closed guard but Rains is proving a slippery customer.
Lobe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lobe looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Rains is staying active underneath Lobe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rains is trying to get back to full guard.
Rains looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Lobe passes into side control, despite Rains's attempt to control the position.
Rains tries to bench press Lobe off him but Lobe keeps the position.
Lobe is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rains is trying to escape and Lobe transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rains is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lobe! Very nice indeed!
