The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Vega.
Mohammad Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vega clinches with his opponent.
Vega escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vega throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vega keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Steele will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A big left from Vega misses.
Steele should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Vega drives through and clinches with Steele against the cage.

Vega lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Steele scores with a nice right hand.
Vega will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vega misses with a double jab.
A clash of legs there as Vega blocks the low kick.
Vega clinches up against the cage.
Vega breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vega drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Steele right on the button. Steele goes down! Vega follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Vega gets the win via TKO!
