The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underworld throws a hook but Micozzi blocks it.
Micozzi jabs at Underworld's body.
Micozzi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Micozzi.
Micozzi misses with a straight left.
Underworld slips a jab and a cross from Micozzi.
Underworld takes a swing at Micozzi's ribcage but misses.
Micozzi tries for a takedown but Underworld sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Underworld throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Micozzi misses with a double jab.
Underworld misses the shot to the body.
Micozzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Underworld tries to avoid it but Micozzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Underworld to the ground. Underworld escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Micozzi tries to close the distance and clinch but Underworld swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Micozzi tries to move into range but Underworld moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Andrew Micozzi has been cut.

Micozzi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Underworld works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Underworld counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Underworld stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Underworld wants it to stay on the feet.

Hades Underworld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Micozzi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Underworld swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Underworld uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Micozzi.

Micozzi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Micozzi showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Micozzi throws a strike but Underworld avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Micozzi throws a strike but Underworld rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Micozzi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Underworld has picked Micozzi up and slammed him! Micozzi can't keep hold of the triangle and Underworld manages to pass to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Underworld lands a left and a right that send Micozzi crashing to the mat, dazed. Underworld thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Underworld lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Micozzi - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Underworld!
