The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Market fails with the takedown. Panameno fails with the takedown and Market counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Panameno punching from the bottom.

Market fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Panameno stuffs the takedown. Panameno fails with the takedown and Market counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Market controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Market's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Panameno looking to control.

Market takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Panameno missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Panameno throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Panameno can do anything to dispel that myth. Panameno trying to control the position from guard on top but Market is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Market passes Panameno's left leg - he's now in half guard. Panameno trying to control here.

Mario Market showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Panameno shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Panameno throwing strikes here but Market is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Market tries to lock up and control but Panameno gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Market tries to reverse the position but Panameno maintains control. Panameno trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Panameno. Panameno content just to control the position here. Panameno swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Market is now in Panameno's guard. A big mistake from Panameno there, giving up the dominant position! Panameno not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
