Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joaquim Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leslie Chau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joaquim Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leslie Chau! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chau pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch. Chau makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A bit of stalling here from Chau.
Chau's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chau instigates a clinch. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chau avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Chau manages to break the clinch.
Chau shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control! Silva wants to control but Chau postures up. Chau misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Chau wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Chau looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Silva is avoiding damage well.
Chau tries to score with some ground and pound. Silva controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva is trying to get back to half guard. Chau trying to control the position but Silva is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chau clinches up against the cage. Chau lands a knee to the head.
Chau breaks the clinch.
Chau closes the distance and clinches. Silva has Chau pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chau manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Chau pressing his opponent against the cage. Silva takes a knee right on the jaw!
Chau gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Silva being controlled here, momentarily. Silva keeping moving, preventing Chau from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to stand and escape but Chau is having none of it. Chau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva working a defensive guard here.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Chau is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chau keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Silva thowing shots but they're missing. Silva trying to control but Chau is having none of it. Chau tries to hold on but Silva postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silva throwing strikes here but Chau is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Silva misses with a head shot. Silva trying to control but he's not successful this time. Silva throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Chau is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva tries to control but Chau wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leslie Chau dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chau pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch. Chau lands a good knee to the midsection. Silva won't want to take too many of those. Chau's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Silva misses with a wild body shot. Silva has his takedown stuffed and Chau counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Chau is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Chau trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva is trying to keep Chau in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chau is one step ahead there. Chau must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chau trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Chau has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chau's guard. Chau is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea. Chau is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silva trying to control but Chau is working from the bottom. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chau swivels though and keeps the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chau can do anything to dispel that myth. Chau wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva stops Chau from standing up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A head kick misses from Chau. Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Chau counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chau. Chau landing knees to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Chau. Chau just leaning against Silva, taking a breather. Silva goes for a takedown attempt but Chau pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joaquim Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A nice inside leg kick there by Chau. That's going to slow Silva down. Chau closes the distance and clinches. Chau is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chau persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Silva is looking to stand up but Chau isn't so interested in that idea. Silva is trying to keep Chau in close.
Chau throws a big right hand that misses. Chau trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leslie Chau showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Chau swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva shoots and misses and Chau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chau seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Silva is trying to control but can't.
Silva regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chau. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chau accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chau's corner is telling him to maintain position. Chau takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Silva trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chau being controlled here momentarily. Chau is looking to advance position but Silva has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Silva is trying to control here but Chau has managed to regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chau has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though. Silva trying to mount his opponent but Chau defends it. Chau is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva tries to control but Chau wriggling away. Silva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Chau wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away. Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chau is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Silva misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Leslie Chau is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silva tries to control but Chau wriggling away. Silva punching from mount but Chau doing a good job of avoiding damage. Chau is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chau is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action. Joaquim Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Chau manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Leslie Chau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
