Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Ignacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Che Ignacio! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Emelianenko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Ignacio shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Emelianenko as he jumps to the side. Ignacio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko defends it nicely. Ignacio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Emelianenko sprawls well. Emelianenko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ignacio gets slowly back to his feet. Igor Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Che Ignacio. Ignacio shoots in looking for a takedown. Emelianenko tries to sprawl out of it but Ignacio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ignacio throws a looping overhand right but Emelianenko ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelianenko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ignacio. Ignacio shoots in but Emelianenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ignacio fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ignacio looks to throw the jab but Emelianenko is out of range. Emelianenko throws a right and a left that Ignacio avoids nicely. Ignacio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ignacio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Emelianenko has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Ignacio's lack of action.
Ignacio moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ignacio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ignacio has hold of Emelianenko's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Emelianenko seems comfortable defending it but Ignacio has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Emelianenko is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Emelianenko is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ignacio couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Che Ignacio!
