Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damian Six! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Brown! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Six throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and checks it nicely. Six misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Six throws a low kick, looking for Brown's leg but Brown calmly moves out of range. Six does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Six misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Six fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Six. That's going to take a lot out of him. Six shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense. Six bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Six decides to stand back up. Some bone on bone action there as Brown checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Six. Six tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown wants to pass the guard but Six is keeping the position. Six being controlled here, momentarily. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Six is retaining full guard. Brown slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Six is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Brown wants to improve his position but Six is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Six blocks the strikes from Brown.
Brown should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Brown wants to get back to full guard but Six has passed into side control. Six can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape. Brown tries to hold on but Six postures up. Six prevents Brown from getting the reversal. Six controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Six get's back to his feet. Brown misses with a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Six gets full guard. Brown lands a couple of elbows. Brown trying to control but Six is working from the bottom. Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Six. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown looks gassed! Six trying to control the position here. Six will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Brown stops Six from standing up. Six looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That was a close round but I would say that Damian Six will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Brown darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Six regains full guard. Nicely done. Six trying to control the position.
Six pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage. Six throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Six wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment. Brown drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Six dives on top into guard. Brown is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Six controls from within his opponent's guard. Six wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Six forces his way into half guard. Six wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working. Six working Brown over with strikes. Six seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Well, if Six is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Damian Six just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nice body punch from Brown. Six closes the distance and clinches. Brown is trying to break the clinch but Six has him pressed against the cage. Six breaks the clinch.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Six decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Six passes easily into side control. Nice work. Six trying to control the position but Brown is working away. Brown tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Six decides to stand back up. Six steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet. Six closes the distance and clinches. Six drags the fight down to the ground.

Six looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there. Six is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Six is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.
Six pulls Brown in close to his closed guard and prevents Brown from doing any damage or advancing position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Six is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Six decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Six misses with a double jab.
Six tries to clinch but Brown moves out of range. Six fails with an attempt to clinch.
Six scores with a one two! Brown had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Mike Brown has been cut. Six fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it. Six throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Six on that attempt. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Six holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Six successfully pulls guard.

Damian Six dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mike Brown's cut. That's time! Six's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Six looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Six shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Six showed some decent athleticism there. Brown wants to control the action here but instead Six manages to pass to full mount! Brown is squirming around, avoiding Six's attempts to control the action. Brown swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Brown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Six can't control as he wanted to and Brown manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Six wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.

Brown is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Brown actively working from the bottom here. It looks like Six is going to stand back up.
Six is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Six is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brown is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Six wants to stand but Brown has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Brown is looking to control Six's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brown avoid being mounted?
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Six closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Six lands in his opponent's guard. Brown trying to strike off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Six would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Brown keeping moving, preventing Six from controlling successfully. Brown working a defensive guard here.
Brown might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Six kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Six trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Six wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Six sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Six shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Six controlling his opponent. Six unloading with bombs! Six lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Six is standing up, even though he is in mount. Six shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Six scoring with some ground and pound. Mike Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Six looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! Damian Six showed his dominance in that final round. Well Six has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
