Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slaven Donnech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiazer Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soze has chosen Hot Dog Hot Dog Hot Diggety Dog as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Slaven Donnech!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Kiazer Soze!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze throws a right and a left that Donnech avoids nicely.
Soze tries a head kick but it misses.
Soze lands a two punch combo.
Soze moves in looking to clinch but Donnech pushes him off.
Soze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Donnech showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Soze.
Soze throws a shot from downtown. Donnech moves away and avoids it.
Soze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Donnech paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Soze misses the shot to the body.
Soze swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Soze throws a half hearted mid kick.
Donnech lands with a hook. Soze tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Soze throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Soze clinches up with Donnech and pushes him back against the cage.
Donnech blocking some punches.
Soze misses with some punches.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Donnech.
Soze doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Donnech avoiding damage as Soze throws knees to the body.
Donnech jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soze walks away with a smile on his face. Donnech gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Donnech blocks a head kick by Soze.
Soze cracks Donnech with an open hand slap.
The fight stays on the outside here - Soze looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Donnech uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Soze.
Soze misses with a hook. Donnech ducked under it nicely.
Soze throws a head kick that misses.
Soze tries to clinch but Donnech moves out of range.
Soze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donnech swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Soze cracks Donnech with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Soze moves in looking to clinch but Donnech pushes him off.
Kiazer Soze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Soze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donnech swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Soze looks to score with a jab to the body but Donnech is just out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Donnech.

Kiazer Soze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Soze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donnech swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Soze misses with a hook. Donnech ducked under it nicely.

Donnech jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soze walks away with a smile on his face. Donnech gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Soze pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Donnech displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Soze throws out the jab.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nice shot lands for Donnech.

Soze looks to land a left hand but Donnech moved out of range nicely.

Soze gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Donnech to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Donnech trying to control the position from guard on top but Soze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Donnech throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Donnech postures up in Soze's guard and throws a big left but Soze blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Donnech accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Soze scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donnech closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Soze did well to prevent Donnech getting side control.

Soze is concentrating on defense, preventing Donnech from advancing position.

Soze fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Donnech looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donnech tries for a takedown but Soze sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Donnech uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Soze.

Donnech looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Soze pushes Donnech off looking to stand but Donnech dives back in and keeps control.

Donnech is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Soze defends it well.

Donnech has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Donnech shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Soze sprawls well. Soze wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Donnech gets slowly back to his feet.
Soze throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soze tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circle momentarily. Soze darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soze looks to land a combination but Donnech avoids it well.
Soze takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Donnech bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Soze is looking to reverse the position.

Donnech is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Soze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Soze wants to get back to his feet.
Soze is not content to let Donnech control the position.
Donnech grinds an elbow into Soze's temple.

Donnech goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Soze rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Donnech's guard! Nice work there by Soze!

Soze must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Soze decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Donnech, up you get!

Soze tries to bum rush Donnech with a series of wild strikes but Donnech uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Donnech shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Donnech was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Soze is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
BOOM! Donnech connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Donnech wants to finish this one by submission but Soze is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Donnech.
Soze is bucking up trying to escape but Donnech cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Soze tries to reverse the position but Donnech maintains control.
Soze wants to hold on but Donnech pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Donnech working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Soze is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Donnech pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Soze takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Donnech has control of Soze's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Soze regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Soze squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Donnech working the ground and pound effectively.

And that's the end of the fight!
Slaven Donnech showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Donnech has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
