Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomaz Dandas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muy Thai Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomaz Dandas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muy Thai Bot! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dandas keeps the fight on the outside. Dandas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bot sprawls well initially but Dandas persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dandas thows a huge punch but Bot dodges it nicely.
Dandas stops Bot from getting back to his feet.
Dandas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bot looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dandas lands a nice short elbow. Dandas is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dandas lands with a punch from half guard. Dandas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bot taking some punishment here, with Dandas in his half guard. Bot wants to get back to his feet.
Dandas looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Dandas working over Bot with some ground and pound. Bot looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dandas lands a nice short elbow. Dandas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dandas prevents Bot from standing back up.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dandas looking to control but Bot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dandas fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The referee warns Bot that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dandas lands with some strikes. Dandas is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bot can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Dandas working for a guillotine from mount but Bot is in no mood to give up. Dandas scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dandas with shots to the head and body - Bot looks very uncomfortable down there. Dandas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bot on the ground. Dandas cracks Bot with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dandas working away from the top, dropping strikes. Dandas moves into range and clinches up with Bot. Bot missing with knees to the body.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bot is pressed up against the cage. Dandas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bot down to the mat. Bot avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bot wants to clinch but Dandas slips to the side and Dandas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bot won't be happy with that. Dandas is looking to take a break and control but Bot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bot is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bot is breathing heavily. Dandas scores with punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Bot is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dandas has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dandas scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bot to see if he's OK. Dandas scoring with punches and elbows. Dandas looks up at the clock and then as Bot takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dandas smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Dandas is putting a hurting on Bot here, landing some big shots from side control. Dandas working the ground and pound. Dandas creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Dandas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bot can do to turn this around? Dandas scores with punches from side control. Dandas lands a few punches from side control. Dandas lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot wants to get back to his feet but Dandas drags him back down. Dandas works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Dandas is trying to get an arm triangle but Bot is defending well. Bot is looking to get back to his feet here but Dandas is keeping cool and he's managed to take Bot's back. Dandas scores with punches and elbows. Bot fending off the submission attempt from Dandas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dandas throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Bot is trying to get back to his feet but Dandas has full control of the position and if anything, Bot has just worked his way into a worse spot. Can Bot hold on?! Dandas is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Bot controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Dandas is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dandas gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dandas gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dandas apologises and we restart here on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dandas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bot just stands there and leans against the cage. Dandas wants to break free but Bot has control.
Dandas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dandas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bot is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomaz Dandas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dandas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bot working Dandas over with knees to the body. Bot lands a nice knee to the body. Dandas tries to pull guard but Bot holds him up against the cage and eventually Dandas drops back down to his feet.

Thomaz Dandas dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Bot closes the distance but Dandas moves to the side so Dandas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dandas looking to sit in guard and control but Bot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bot is looking to stand up but Dandas won't let him. Dandas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bot manages to get himself to full guard.
Dandas postures up and lands a big shot to Bot's brow. Dandas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dandas working some strikes from top position. Thomaz Dandas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dandas won't allow Bot to get back to his feet. Dandas is working Bot over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dandas chips away with some ground and pound. Dandas trying to control but Bot is working from the bottom. Dandas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dandas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bot wants to get back to his feet but Dandas is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dandas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bot's head. Dandas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bot swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dandas is in close to Bot's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bot wants to stand up but Dandas is controlling him. Dandas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dandas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Dandas landing some decent shots from guard. Dandas postures up and lands a big shot to Bot's brow. Bot keeping moving, preventing Dandas from controlling successfully. Dandas controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bot is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dandas is controlling him. Dandas stands up over Bot, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dandas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Dandas distracts Bot with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dandas landing some decent shots from guard. Dandas won't allow Bot to get back to his feet. Dandas is in close to Bot's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dandas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Dandas with a nice head shot there. Muy Thai Bot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thomaz Dandas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bot keeping moving, preventing Dandas from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Thomaz Dandas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dandas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
