Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Ariza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuka uhr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ariza gets a clinch.
Ariza unloads a knee to the mid-section. uhr lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ariza prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ariza is trying to drag uhr to the mat but uhr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ariza jumps guard.

uhr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

uhr pushes Ariza off looking to stand but Ariza dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ariza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

uhr remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Ariza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
uhr wants to stand and escape but Ariza is having none of it.

uhr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for uhr.
uhr lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ariza!
uhr is working for a guillotine from mount but Ariza frees his head quite easily.

uhr working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Ariza is doing well to defend. uhr seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Ariza is forced to tap and this one is over!
