Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between chris koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Mis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

koch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mis is looking to improve his position.
koch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
koch moves into full mount! Mis won't be happy about that!

koch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mis manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mis looks to move to half guard but instead koch has passed into mount! Damn!
koch in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
koch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Mis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with koch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

koch is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mis is surviving well by controlling koch's body position as best he can.

koch jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mis and koch has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Mis looking to sit in guard and control but koch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

koch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! koch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! koch has escaped and now he's on top!

koch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mis laying and praying for a moment but koch takes advantage and regains half guard.

Mis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but koch sees it coming and defends easily.
koch wants to control but Mis is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mis tries to pass to full mount but koch defends it.

Mis controls koch momentarily but koch frees himself.
Mis is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

koch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mis wants to sweep here but koch controlling him for the moment.

Mis wants to get back to his feet but koch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

koch is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

koch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
