Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Belphegor Satanic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and XXXXX Maldoror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satanic tries to clinch but Maldoror is having none of it.

Maldoror pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Satanic avoids a wild elbow strike from Maldoror.
Maldoror has Satanic pressed against the cage, preventing Satanic from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Satanic pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maldoror wanted to stand there but Satanic had control of the position.
Maldoror is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Maldoror wants to clinch but Satanic slips to the side
and Satanic holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Maldoror tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Satanic's elbow.
Maldoror lands an elbow just above Satanic 's eye.
Maldoror is trying to break free.
Satanic takes an elbow to the temple.
Satanic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Maldoror's efforts to push away.
Satanic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Maldoror breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maldoror tries to close the distance and clinch but Satanic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maldoror works over Satanic's head and body with a nice combination.

Maldoror tries to clinch up but Satanic circles away and keeps his distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Satanic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Satanic holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Maldoror is trying to break the clinch but Satanic has him pressed against the cage.
Satanic gets control of Maldoror's arms and successfully pulls guard. Satanic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Maldoror stops Satanic from standing up.
Maldoror wants to stand but Satanic is controlling his posture from full guard.
Satanic pushes Maldoror off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Satanic drives through and clinches with Maldoror against the cage.
Satanic can't break the clinch.
Satanic tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Maldoror wants to get back to striking at distance but Satanic won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Belphegor Satanic dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Maldoror cracks Satanic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Satanic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Satanic misses with an elbow strike.
Satanic decides to pull guard.
Maldoror wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Satanic's closed guard. He's half up but Satanic has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Satanic pivots and extends the arm, Maldoror falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Satanic! Well done that man!
