The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia shoots in for a takedown but Kanehara shows good takedown defense.

Garcia takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Pablo Garcia has been cut.

Akira Kanehara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Garcia.
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt - Kanehara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Garcia shoots in looking for a takedown. Kanehara tries to sprawl out of it but Garcia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kanehara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kanehara lands with a right that hurts Garcia. Garcia looks to clinch but Kanehara throws a short knee that drops Garcia. This one is all over!
